New week, new chances to do better

So this is the start of another week and while the last couple weeks have been going good I know I could do better. Hopeing to get the whole week in with working out but most likely that won't happen. I am not working Thursday which should make it easier right? Not really. Also next weekend is Christmas so lets hope that goes well, LOL. I guess we will just see and take one day at a time.

Tuesday Workout

So my workout was good today. Did 20 min on the eliptical and burned 207 calories according to the machine. We then did a circuit 10 reps of each squats, push-ups, lunges and 30 second hold of the plank position. My whole body was tired after that work out. It was a good work out.

Tuesday Morning!

Today is going to be a great day...Know why? Because I am finally making downward progress in my weightloss. I weighed myself this morning and I am at 165lbs. I am so excited. My weight is finally moving again and in the right direction. So here is to shakes, working out and being semi good about my eating. Now imagine what will happen when I really work at being good about my food intake and my shakes. So 130lbs here I come ready or not.

Shake recipe

16 oz of Orange Juice, 1 scoop of powdered vanilla shake of your choice, and 4 ice cubes

Measurements update

Okay so rechecked my measurements and those aren't changing either. This calls for more stringent measures to be taken. I will not take any breaks from my diet except Christmas weekend and only for the two christmas dinners one on either Saturday or Sunday and the other Christmas day if that happens. I have to start dropping this weight before April gets here. It won't take that long to be here and then what will I do....?

Last part of the week

Lets see what happened...
Okay so made it to the gym Wednesday and Thursday but Friday got all messed up. But got up to four days this week so we are making progress. Still need to redo my measurements because I haven't lost any weight. Although I don't think the cupcakes or Nemo cake helped much but how many times does your only Daughter turn 2. I did resist the urge to finish of the cupcakes and threw them in the trash. Woot for me self control. Now if I could just get that with my shakes I would be on a roll. Thinking about ordering the chocolate shake and going for it. I think if I just gave it one GOOD month (key there being good month) I would be on the other side of this weight problem and not feeling so heavy. Got to think of some ideas and fast because being heavy isn't working for me.

Monday and Tuesday

Worked out Monday so doing good so far. Went for a brisk walk around the base, did jumping jacks and went through the jungle. This entailed some very hard moves that took coordination as well as muscle use. I was worn out at the end and then we did lots of abs. Been drinking more water which is good but my food is not the most healthy. Although tonight I did good with broccoli, baked chicken and rice. The brownie however wasn't the best but what can you do. I didn't work out today but can't be perfect all the time. I have been eating more fruit which is good.

Friday workout

So made it to the gym three days this week. Doing great! I did a back to basics class at the gym which had strength and cardio for about 45 min. We did suicides, jumping jacks, marching, tricep dips, bicep curls with the bands, wall sits, pyramid push ups, gosh other stuff too but don't remember what else. It was tough but good. Maybe we will try to do that twice a month on a Friday for a little variety. We shall see.....

Worked out Wednesday

I got back to the gym Wednesday and worked out on the eliptical machine. I did 40 min which I didn't think I could do and burned 405 calories. Very exciting! So only going to make it 3 days this week but its a start and better than not going at all. Hopeing next week will be all five days. We are going to do M, W, F, as our weight lifting days and T, TH as our cardio days. We shall see how it goes. My newest mini goal is to lose one pant size this month before the New Year! Lets see how it goes.
