Learn and grow

So I have learned that I love running.  When I am out there I don't really care that I'm not fast.  I challenge myself and I always feel great after a run.  I feel like I am making a difference in my health.  My mental state is always better and well I just feel better when I run consistently.  Why am I posting this you might ask?  Well two reasons, one is so that when I doubt running I will be able to come back and remember that it helps me even when the scale doesn't move and two because I took a few weeks off and realized how much I loved it and missed it.  I have also noticed that over the last couple months my speed or lack of speed doesn't bother me as much as it did when I first started.  Now I am just proud that I went out and ran 2.5-3 miles three days a week.  I'm glad that I found what I love, now to build a routine around my running instead of the other way around.

Moving down

I started this blog as more of a journal for me to keep track of my eating, working out, weight loss.  I think I wanted it to be more for awhile but the reality is that when I'm down on my working out I don't post and sometimes I get to busy to post so I like it just being a journal of me to remind me of far I have come.  I have reached my pre-pregnancy weight but for sure not my pre-pregnancy size.  I am still a little bigger through the hips than I wish I was but that is just a fact of having three children.  I am still working on it and working out.  I started doing the Body by Vi shakes to help jump start my weight loss again since I was stuff.  It worked and I am below 160 finally.  I fit into my Maid of Honor dress and am feeling better about myself.  I enjoy working out and eating healthy.  I just need to keep making changes and keep trying and I will reach my goal.  I will be healthy.  I am doing the live fit, signed up for a membership at the YMCA and going with the hubby to the gym.  Next step is to continue to improve on my eating and I will have a great system that I can keep moving forward with.  Onward and upward I say.
